It is with deep sadness that the family of Phyllis Marion
McLeod, 75, of Moncton, announces her passing on Tuesday, July 28,
2026, at Albert House Hospice SENB.
Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Phyllis was the daughter
of the late Clement and Myrtle (Francis) Snider.
Phyllis lived her life with unwavering devotion to the people
she loved. Family was always at the centre of everything she did. She
was the heart that kept everyone connected, the steady presence who
brought loved ones together, celebrated life's milestones, and offered
comfort during difficult times. Her greatest joy came from caring for
her family and creating lasting memories with those closest to
her.
She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Tracy Saunders
(Jerry), and her cherished granddaughters, Emily and Lillian, who were
a constant source of pride and happiness. She is also survived by her
sister, Nancy Pollock (Darrell); her brother, Clement Snider (Diane);
and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her
beloved son, Michael, in May 2026, a loss she carried with immense
love and courage.
Beyond her family, Phyllis formed deep and lasting
friendships within her building, creating a welcoming circle of
companionship, kindness, and support. Her door was always open, her
conversations heartfelt, and her friendships treasured. To many, she
was more than a neighbor; she was a trusted friend who made others
feel valued, included, and cared for.
Phyllis will be remembered for her generosity, strength, and
the love she poured into the lives of those around her. Her legacy
lives on in the family she held together, the friendships she
nurtured, and the countless lives she touched through her compassion
and kindness.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900), where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Sunday, August 9, at 2 p.m.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 9, from 1 p.m. until the

place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery in Saint John on August
10.
