At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, on Saturday, July 11, 2026,
Roger Léger of Boudreau-Ouest, NB, passed away peacefully
at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Philias and
Eveline (Léger) Léger.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline ''Jackie''
Léger of Shediac; his son, Emery (Danie) of Boudreau-Ouest;
his granddaughters: Gabrielle, Claire and Julie; as well as several
nieces and a nephew.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Ella
Melanson.
Roger carried a lifelong passion for horses and farm
equipment, a love that reflected his deep connection to the land. He
cherished every summer spent at the family cottage in Cap
Brûlé with friends who meant so much to him. He
was a proud father of his only son, and his grandchildren brought him
endless joy. His deep love for his wife remained with him all his
life. After retiring, he continued giving back to his community
through Church committees, hospice, and three terms as the municipal
representative for Boudreau-Ouest.
The family is deeply grateful to the Dr.
Georges‑L.-Dumont UHC staff for their kindness and attentive
care. We also wish to thank his family doctor, Dr. Rhéal
Boudreau, who cared for him like his own father. Your support and
compassion will always be remembered with appreciation.
