It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing
of Simon.
A beloved son of Christine and Neil Barr, brother Jeremy
(Tina), daughters: Madison and Brooklyn, son Lance, step-sister
Alexandra Archibald, nephew Zachery, niece Molly, uncle Richard Dowse
(Scotland), cousins: Billy (Fiona), Christopher (Teri) and Maria
(Mike), as well as many family and friends around the
world.
He is predeceased by his father John Chipper.
Simon was born in Bridgewater. He had a great love of the
ocean and land. He graduated from Sir John A. Macdonald High School.
Simon went on to the Centre of Geographical Sciences and earned a
civil engineering degree.
During his career, he travelled extensively in North America,
Brazil, and Mexico and British Guiana.
He loved spending time camping with his family, tinkering in
his workshop and driving his trucks and his beloved
Mustang.
He will forever be remembered for his wonderful jovial
manner, his teasing sense of humour, adventurous spirit, his heart to
help so many people and his deep love for his children.
Our special thanks go to the staff of the intensive care unit
at The Moncton Hospital.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Thursday
