Florence Léger, 93, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday April 3, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on November 2, 1920 in Shédiac, she was the daughter of the late Camille and Florine (Bourque) Melanson.

She is survived by one daughter, Bernice Bourgeois (Gilles) of Dieppe; two sons: Roger (Linda) and Donald (Annette), both of Moncton; one brother, Arthur (Gertrude) of Moncton; four grandchildren: Natasha, Marco, Luc (Véronique) and Troy; three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Nicholas and Maxime; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Camille; one sister, Marguerite Bourque; one brother, Henri; one son-in-law, Jean-Paul Arsenault, and one great-granddaughter, Jenika.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton on Monday April 7, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Florence, a contribution to the N.B. Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
