Linda Gautreau, 72, of Shediac, passed away peacefully on Friday October 9, 2026, in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Eva (Gallant) Gautreau.

She is survived by four children: Jean-Claude, Donny (Nicole), Michel and Cathy Gautreau (Daniel Hope); three grand-children: Danyka (Miah), Bianca and Malika (Justin); one sister, Aline Gautreau (Robert McPhee) of Shediac; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gérard (2024); four sisters: Jeannette, Rachel, Doris et Geneva; four brothers: Valérie, Alonzo, Edgar and Gérard.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396, Main Street Shediac, on Thursday, October 15, at 2 p.m.  Linda’s final resting place will be in the Saint-Joseph R.C. Parish cemetery in Shediac.

In memory of Linda, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
