It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Madeline "Maddie" Welner at the tender age of 16.

Maddie was a gentle soul whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she encountered. She loved deeply and without reservation.

Maddie loved her family and friends. She cherished the bonds she formed, always ensuring that her loved ones felt valued and understood. She was the first one to lend an ear, offering comfort to those in need. Maddie carried the weight of others with grace, never shying away from the struggles around her.

We are privileged to have known Maddie and to have witnessed the beauty of her spirit. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded that this world was never meant for someone as beautiful as Maddie. She will be deeply missed and will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Rest in peace, dear Maddie.

Maddie leaves behind her mother Alicia Welner, her father Alain Lemay, many brothers and sisters, her best friend, and many people in the community that knew her and worked with her for several years. Maddie you will be greatly missed!

A celebration of life will take place at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Wednesday October 14 from 6 to 8 pm. In memory of Madeline, a contribution to PAW (People for Animal Wellbeing) would be appreciated.
