On Monday, October 5, 2026, Gail Morrissey, 79, of Shediac, passed away at home. Born in Moncton NB, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Lorette (Hébert) Richardson.

She will be remembered for her kind and caring heart, her deep love of nature and animals, and the warmth she shared so generously with those around her. She cherished time spent with her family and close friends, creating countless special memories and treasured moments together. She especially loved gathering with her breakfast crew and dear friends at Loch Lomond Campground, which brought her great joy.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Dennis Morrissey of Shediac; her daughters: Cindy Morrissey (Tim) of St. George, and Krista MacKenzie (Corey) of Dieppe; her son Craig Morrissey (Janice) of Shediac; her sister Joan Hendrickson (Bob) of Shediac; and five grandchildren: Breanna, Emily, Ashley, Kate and Lincoln.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Ralph; and her sisters: Irma and Margaret.

In keeping with Gail’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 16, between 3pm and 6pm, at the Pointe-du-Chêne Recreational & Community Center.  Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac, NB.

In memory of Gail, a donation of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
