At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, on Friday, October 2, 2026, Marjorie Rodgers, of Grand-Barachois, passed away at the age of 88 years. Born in Sydney, NS, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Janet Smith.

Marjorie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sharon (Mario) Bourque; her grandchildren: Olivia, Victoria and Mackenzie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James "Buddy" Rodgers (2023); and her sister Evelyn Warren.

In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment will take place in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens in Sydney, NS

In memory of Marjorie, a donation of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
