It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of
our beloved Scott McCallum, who passed away at his home in Dieppe, New
Brunswick, on September 24, 2026, at the age of 46.
Born on February 29, 1980, in Pembroke, Ontario, Scott was
the son of the late Mona Lee Doucet of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, and
Scott McCallum of Petrolia, Ontario. He was also the grandson of the
late Isabel and Clifford Doucet of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, who loved
him dearly.
Scott was predeceased by his wife, Shelley MacKeigan McCallum
of Moncton, New Brunswick.
He leaves behind his fiancée, Lyne LeBlanc of
Moncton, New Brunswick, as well as his father, Scott McCallum of
Petrolia, Ontario, and his brothers, Jeffrey Dupuis (Mussee Dupuis) of
Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Brett McCallum of Petrolia, Ontario. He is
also survived by his niece and nephew, many aunts, uncles, cousins,
and dear friends who held a special place in his life.
Scott graduated from Dalhousie Regional High School and later
made his home in the Moncton area. His friendships meant a great deal
to him, and he was fortunate to have so many people in his life who
cared about him. Those who knew Scotty will remember the
conversations, the laughs, and the time spent together over the
years.
A memorial service will be held in Dalhousie, New Brunswick,
in the spring or summer of 2027. Interment will be at St. John Bosco
in Dalhousie. Further details will be shared at a later
date.
We will miss your infectious smile, your kindness, and most
of all, we will miss you, Scotty.
In memory of Scott, raise a glass, enjoy a good laugh, and
spend some time with the people you love.
