Hermine Hébert-Daigle, 91, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.  Born in St-Maurice, she was the daughter of Edgar and Marie-Luce (Goguen) Richard.

Before her retirement, Hermine worked for 26 years at the Scoudouc glass factory.

She is survived by her children: Paul (Ginette), Georgette (feu Roger), Jeannine (Charles), Rosemonde (Vic); her grandchildren: Daniel (Sheina), Valérie (Gaston), Gabriel (Kayla), Mathieu (Marie-Josée) and baby Lionel Aldéric arriving in November; her sisters: Sr. Léona and Auréla (Aubrey Flowelling); seventeen great-grandchildren; one step-daughter, Patsy (Mike); and two step-grandsons: Roger (Carole) and Marc (Tammy).

She was predeceased by her first husband Aldéric Hébert (1989); her second husband Edmond Daigle (2012); two sisters: Sr Auréa and Léona (in infancy); and also her brother, Roger.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Friday, October 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only.  The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 3, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Frenette Funeral Centre. Interment will be in the St-Jacques-le-Majeur cemetery in Scoudouc.

In memory of Hermine, a donation to the St-Jacques-le-Majeur cemetery or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
