It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Béatrice Landry, 79, of Moncton, who passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC on Monday, September 21, 2026. Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Roméo and Bella (Brideau) Landry.

Before her retirement, Béatrice worked for the Government of Canada with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.

She will be sadly missed by five sisters: Anne-Marie Sonier (late Maurice), Claudette LeBlanc (Renaud), Carmelle Landry, Cécile Landry (Jean-Nil) and Blanche Landry; one brother, Jean-Marie (Doris); one brother-in-law, Roland Roussel; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Rita Roussel and Edith Landry; and one niece, Chantal Roussel.

Family and close friends are invited to pay their respects at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900), where a time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 26, from 2 to 3 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens church, 5239 Route 160, Pont-Landry, on Monday, September 28, at 11 am. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.

In memory of Béatrice, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
