It is with great sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Doiron, 86, of Cap-Pelé, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC in Moncton, on Monday, September 21, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Gérald and Florine (Melanson) Vautour.

Before her retirement, Rose worked as a cook for many years at "Fred’s" restaurant in Cap-Pelé, as well as at several other restaurants. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Her favourite pastimes included playing bingo, playing cards, bottling, and tending to her garden. Above all, she adored her family and deeply cherished her children and grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Richard (Jacqueline "Jackie") of Grand-Barachois, Yvette Dubroy (Jimmy) of Shediac, and Claudette Bélanger (Daniel) of Cap-Pelé; her brothers and sisters: Georgette (Albert), Normand (Émilia), Alvida, Geralda (Julien), Lydia (France), Janise and Thérèse (Régis); her grandchildren: Jesse, Jolaine (Lucas), Adrian (Ashley), Justin (Adelle), Jordan, Ryan, Félix and Étienne; her great-grandchildren: Théo, Jaëlle, Juliette, Zélie and Gino; as well as two sisters-in-law: Auréa and Évangeline.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Léandre (2011); her sister, Noëlla; and her brother, Oscar.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Sunday, September 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, September 28, from 9 to 9:45 a.m. The funeral service will be held at Saint-Henri Roman Catholic Church, 1356 Route 133, Grand-Barachois, NB, on Monday, September 28, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

In memory of Rose, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
