It is with heavy hearts, that the family of the late
André Landry, announces his passing on Monday, September
14, 2026, at the age of 61, at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was
the son of the late Azor and Aline (Landry) Landry.
Since the Cap-Pelé Southeast Abilities Centre
opened its doors, André was a cherished member of their
community. For decades, he contributed to many projects that included:
making fudge, working copper and assembling fire starter kits.
André was very social and always looked forward to
activities organized by the Centre. It was a pleasure for him to go to
work every day, and he will be dearly missed by his second
family.
André is survived by his siblings: Paul (Pauline)
of Grand-Barachois, Rhona Léger (Normand), and Maurice
(Micheline), all of Cap-Pelé; his nieces and nephews:
Manuel, Michelle (Brian), Kristelle (Mario), Justin (Jordan), Miguel
(Olivia) and Maxan; as well as a great-niece, Neveah; and a
great-nephew, Noah.
Besides his parents, Azor (2016) and Aline (2023), he was
predeceased by his brother, Roy (2000).
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Centre.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., on Friday, September 18, at
Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Church, 2648
Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery.
In memory of André, a contribution to the
Southeast Abilities Centre would be appreciated by the
family.
