Michel Ouellette passed away at the UHC Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont
in Moncton, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. He was the son of the
late Valérie Ouellette and Léola (Melanson)
Ouellette.
Michel leaves behind his mother, Léola; his
children: Marc, Jason (Stéphani), Danielle,
Stéphanie and Luc; his brothers: Paul (Brenda) and Daniel
(Annette); his grandchildren: Gabrielle, Jaylynn, Lynndi, Kobi and
Sadie; and his great-grandchildren: Ziggy and Azalea. He
will also be deeply missed by his nieces, as well as his many cousins
and extended family members. He also leaves behind a special friend
and the mother of his children, Béatrice
Hébert.
Michel was a man of many passions. He took tremendous pride
in being a firefighter, a profession that was an important part of who
he was. He also worked as a nurse, dedicating part of his life to
caring for others. Michel loved cooking, trying new recipes
and sharing his creations with the people around him. A lifelong car
enthusiast, he enjoyed collecting cars, but his beloved "hot
rod" PT Cruiser held a very special place in his
heart.
Perhaps one of the things Michel will be remembered for most,
was his love of telling stories. He loved reminiscing and sharing his
many stories and adventures. Those who knew him will surely remember
hearing some of his favourites, more than once—always told
with the same enthusiasm as the first time. His humour, stories,
laughter and unmistakable personality will be deeply missed by
everyone who knew and loved him.
Michel was predeceased by his father, Valérie, in
2025.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
