Raymond Leonard Gould, 83 years of age, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Gerald and Marie (Bourgeois) Gould.

Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, generosity, mentorship, willingness to express opinions and unwavering love for his family and friends.

Ray is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanita (Arsenault); his children: Mike (Jackie), Joanne Richard (Norm), and Nicole Gallant (Paul); and his three grandchildren: Lauren Gould, Alex Gallant and Joel Gallant; as well as many cousins and friends.

Ray had an impactful career in sales and management at CNR, Pitney Bowes, Maritime Forwarding, Crane - Drumond and finished his career being instrumental in development of Food Depot Alimentaire now Feed New Brunswick. He received The Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellowship Award and King Charles III Coronation Medal. Ray was heavily involved with Knights of Columbus, Humphrey Homeowners and Oldtimers Hockey Association as well as Lakeside Golf Course with many cherished friends.

Ray will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900). Visitations will take place on Sunday, September 13, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and on Monday, September 14 from 2-3 pm, followed by a chapel service at 3 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend and share their memories.
