On Thursday, September 3, 2026, Jean-Paul "Bully" Comeau, 74, of Shediac, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. He was the son of the late Tilmon and Noëlla (LeBlanc) Comeau.

Jean-Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ginette (LeBlanc) Comeau; four sisters: Alice Boudreau (late George), Lorraine Stillwell (Doug), Eugenie Bourque (Jean-Marie), all of Shediac, and Joanne Carr (Aubrey) of Sussex Corner; as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.

Besides his parents, Jean-Paul was predeceased by an infant sister, Rose-Marie Comeau.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Tuesday, September 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, September 9, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Frenette Funeral Centre.
