Dorice Chevarie, 69, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Laurie and Eva (Daigle) LeBlanc.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul; two children: Steven Chevarie (Jessica LeBlanc) of Moncton and Jackie Chevarie of Riverview; seven grandchildren: Haley, Lori, Ethan, Ryan, McKenzie, Aiden and Riley; two great-grandchildren: Evelyn and Adeline; one sister, Diane Cormier (Yvon) of Florida; as well as her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Kevin; and four brothers: Ronny, Roger, Don and Norman.

A celebration of Dorice’s life will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Tuesday September 8 from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Dorice, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
