It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul
Richard, 76, of Saint-Antoine, on Friday August 28, 2026, at Hospice
SENB (Albert House) following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of Dianne (LeBlanc) Richard and the late
Elzéar Richard.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 52 years,
Francine (Mazerolle); his two sons: Luc (Isabelle Roy) and Stephan;
three grandchildren: Guillaume, Krystelle and Philipe; his siblings:
Adrienne Williams (Guy), Aldérice (Claudette), Evariste
(Gladys), Fernand (Antonine), Rosemonde Mazerolle (Ronald),
Roméo (Ginette), Maurice (Pauline), Ginette Landry
(Maurice), Denis (Jacqueline), and Daniel (Josette); as well as many
nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Elzéar; and a
sister-in-law, Juliette.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at the
Saint-Antoine Community Centre, 4556 rue Principale, Saint-Antoine, on
Wednesday September 9 from 2 pm to 4 pm. A gathering will then follow
at the Notre-Dame Community Centre, 3950 Route 115, Notre-Dame.
Interment will be in the Saint-Antoine parish cemetery. In memory of
Paul, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be
