Bobby Fournier, 52, of Irishtown, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday August 9, 2026. Born in Digby, NS, he was the son of Faye (Belliveau) and the late Gustave Fournier.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Louise with whom he shared a wonderful 33 years; his daughter, Olivia; his brother, Russell (Sylvie); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves behind his faithful sidekick and beloved dog Auggie.

Bobby was most proud of his daughter Olivia, and nothing brought him greater joy than being a father. Best known for his sense of humour and loud laugh, you could always count on him to share a joke or tell a story. He enjoyed travelling with his wife, spending time with Olivia, and attending rugby games. Bobby was happiest sharing rapure with family or enjoying a Blue Jays game surrounded by those he loved.

Bobby will be remembered as a strong hardworking man, devoted husband, loving father and son, and cherished friend.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre and no funeral service. In memory of Bobby, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
