Glynn "Glen" Wortman, 76, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Born in Moncton, he was the third of five sons of the late Stanley and Doris (Scott) Wortman.

Prior to his retirement in 2009, Glynn worked as a claim adjuster for Employment Insurance Canada for most of his working life.

He is survived by his brothers: Neil (Annette), Paul (Eveline), Alan (Claudette), Cris (Margie); six nephews: Jacques, Marc, Jeff, Andrew, Ryan, Brock; three nieces: Michelle, Alana and Lauren; as well as many friends.

As per his request, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre and no funeral service. His ashes are to be released in the Northumberland Strait between Parlee and Sandy Beaches where he spent some of the happiest times of his life. A contribution to the Alzheimer’s Society in Glynn’s memory would be appreciated.
