Alice (Gaudet) Brun, 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Léo and Finela (Fougère) Gaudet.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Clarence (58 years of marriage); her daughter, Phyllis Murray (Gary) of Scoudouc; her two sons: Christopher (Sam) of Milton, ON, and Marc (Lisa) of Dieppe; eight grandchildren: Christian, Steven, Stéphanie, Érica, Émilie, Ellis, Mélodie and Zacharie; two great-grandchildren: Maxime and Talisha; two sisters: Jeanne Cormier (Léo-Paul) of St-Antoine and Marie Gallant (Paul) of Scoudouc; seven brothers: Edouard of Moncton, Normand (Doris) of Cocagne, Léonce (Annette), Émile (Carmella), Bernard (Bernice), all of Scoudouc, Arthur (Doris) of Haute-Aboujagane and Eugène (Gail) of Shediac; one brother-in-law, Joseph Robichaud of Haute-Aboujagane; and one sister-in-law, Claudette Gaudet of Malakoff.

Besides her parents, Alice was predeceased by one sister, Bernice Robichaud; and one brother, Léo-Paul.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Sunday, August 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, August 17, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

In memory of Alice, a donation to the Vestiaire St-Joseph of Shediac would be appreciated.
