At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital in
Moncton, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 74, Anne LeBlanc
passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side. Born in Val
Comeau, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and the late
Charlotte (Saulnier) Comeau.
Anne was a loving and devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always busy caring for
others, and she left a profound impression on the lives and hearts of
everyone she met. Whether it was her own family, her brothers and
sisters in Christ, her neighbors, or even newcomers from Africa or
elsewhere, Anne had a place in her heart for everyone. With her
husband Omer by her side, she was always helping someone in need. A
passionate organizer, there was nothing she couldn't plan and put
together. The house was always full. She was a living example of the
words of the Lord Jesus, who said, "It is more blessed to give
than to receive."
Her time to serve others here below has now come to
an end. Mom has gone home to meet her Lord and Savior whom she loved,
adored, and faithfully served for over 50 years, since the day she was
saved by the grace of God, on November 20,
1975.
She is survived by her husband: Omer LeBlanc of
Dieppe; her two children: Denis (Bernice) of Scoudouc, and Lynn
Benoît (Éric) of Dieppe; her brothers and
sisters : Lawrence of Tracadie-Sheila, Ella Robichaud (late
Achille) of Tracadie-Sheila, Onil (Fernande) of Val-Comeau, Roland
(Line) of Tracadie-Sheila, Linda Doiron (Aldoria) of Val-Comeau and
Réjean of Tracadie-Sheila; her sister-in-law: Bernadette
Comeau of St. Isidore; her six grandchildren: Matthieu, Rachel, Luc,
Sylvie, Julie and Sophie; her five great-grandchildren: Nathan,
Hunter, Mason, Matteo and Jackson; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her
brother: Gildas; her brother and sister who both died in early
childhood: Martial and Aline; and her sister-in-law: Léanne
Comeau.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Thais Megid
(oncologist), Dr. Cynthia Savoy (palliative care), the staff of the
oncology center (especially Noëlla), and the staff of Unit 4D
