Luc Jacques Pitre, 65, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Léonard and the late Adeline (Boudreau) Pitre.

He is survived by his two children: Francois (Sarahlee) and Stéphanie (Martin); his three sisters: Julia (Harold), Huguette (Alvin) and Lina (Jean-Claude); his five brothers: Hubert (Carmella), Julien (Agnès), Eugêne (Guylaine), Ulric (Carole) and Robert (Suzanne); his mother-in-law, Martina (late Rémi); his sisters-in-law: Louise and Marthe; as well as his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Gisèle, and one brother, Eudore.

In accordance with Luc’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

In memory of Luc, the family invites you to watch the next Montreal Canadiens game and raise a Budweiser in his honour.

The family also encourages those who wish to make a donation to the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind).
