Leonard Gallant, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday July 19, 2026, at the Villa du Repos. Born in Minto, he was the son of the late Yvon and Alexina (Richard) Gallant.

He is survived by his children: Paul (Stacey) and Monique (Shelley); three brothers: Donald, Vincent (Charline) and Fernand (Dot); one sister-in-law, Rose Gallant; as well as his nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Loretta Cormier (2022); four sisters: Viola, Rachel and Germaine and Pauline, and two brothers: Norman and Paul.

A private funeral service was celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). In memory of Leonard, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick (Moncton Resource Centre) would be appreciated.
