Daniel Dugourd, 84, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Monday July 20, 2026, at Hospice SENB Albert House. Born in Saint-Vit, France, he was the son of the late René and Julienne (Mollet) Dugourd.

Prior to his retirement, Daniel was a farmer and co-owner of Ferme Dugourd with his wife Jacqueline.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jacqueline (Vienot); six children: Catherine (Michel), Dominique, Christophe, Dimitri (Nathalie), Delphin (Marjolaine) and Danielle; three grandchildren: Frederick (Valérie), Samuel (Karine) and Gabriel (Sara); three great-grandchildren: Amanda, Yohan, and Hugues expected to arrive soon; two sisters: Colette and Monique; one brother, René (Jacqueline); as well as his nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one granddaughter, Yzabel.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday July 31 at 1 pm. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton. In memory of Daniel, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.
