Gaëtane Savoie, 77, of Moncton, passed away on Monday June 29, 2026 at the Villa du Repos. Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosalie (Roy) Boudreau.

Prior to her retirement, Gaëtane was manager of National Rent A Car. She had also worked as a bus driver for the city of Moncton.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Michel; two children: Gino (Sabrina) of Moncton and Jessica Savoie (Michael Leah) of Toronto, Ont.; four grandchildren: Madyson, Kurt, Juliette and Felix; four sisters: Noëlla Boudreau and Angeline Boudreau, both of Petit-Rocher, Thérèse Boudreau of Montréal, Qué., and Yvonne Langille (Harold "Junior") of Petit-Rocher; two brothers: Camille (Pauline) of Dieppe and Théophile (Rose-Marie) of Petit-Rocher; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers: Gilbert, Alphée and Thomas.

By request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Tuesday July 7 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Gaëtane, a contribution to the Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral would be appreciated.
