The passing of John Adelard
Arsenault, formerly of Cocagne, occurred on June 29,2026 at the Villa
du Repos in Moncton. Born in Montreal, Qué., John was the
son of the late Alphonse and Clara (Pelletier)
Arsenault.
He is survived by his daughters:
Debbie Wilson (Gene), Lise Watts (David), and JoAnn McLaughlin
(David), all of Moncton, and Kelly McKnight (Ron) of Bedeque, P.E.I.;
12 grandchildren: Brad (Leeanne), Christina (Sorel), Samantha,
Stephanie, Ryan (Melissa), Megan (Josh), Lauren (Scott), Matthew,
Emily, Kayla (Robbie), Kate and Ben; six great-grandchildren: William,
Kyros, Michael, Logan, Jack and Rosie; his beloved and cherished
companion, Beatrice "Betty" Leger St. Pierre and her
family.
John had a long and healthy life
and enjoyed many activities: spending time with both sides of the
family, travelling with Betty in the early years, golf, curling, and
especially playing drums with his musician friends. He was
an animal lover and had many pets over the years, and enjoyed feeding
the birds, etc. He was a proud Acadian and loved to
celebrate his roots with seafood, music, etc.
In keeping with John's wishes, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in
Dieppe with a private graveside service. Funeral arrangements are in
the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre,
Moncton (506-858-1900).
