It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Odette (Marie) Goguen, 67, of Moncton, who left us on June 28, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Sara (Cormier) Goguen.

Odette is survived by three sisters: Freda Gallant (Oscar), Bernice Bray (Dave), both of Moncton and Lucille Pellerin (Ray Breau) of Shediac River; one brother, Tony Goguen of Notre-Dame; as well as several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Victor.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all doctors in the dialysis department and technicians at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, doctors in oncology, all nurses and nurse’s aids of 4F for their wonderful care, as well as all porters and kitchen staff for their special attention to Odette. Sincere thank you also to friends and cousins who came to visit her, and a special thank you to Paul Fearon who was a dear friend to Odette for the last six months

The family will receive condolences at Saint-Pierre R.C. church slumber room, 2000 Route 115, Cocagne, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 2 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Cocagne parish cemetery. In memory of Odette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (dialysis department) would be appreciated.
