Florence Rule, age 77, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Albert House-SENB, in Moncton, NB. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mick and Doris (Hendrickson) Daigle.

Flo wore many hats throughout her life… managing the family Auto Garage in Ashton, Scuba Diving Shop in Ottawa, a farm in Bouctouche and keeping the Bay Vista grounds looking beautiful in Shediac Cape.  Her passions were fly fishing & tying with Maggie; fishing at the Pointe-du-Chêne Wharf and at Cape Enrage (Pebble Beach) for stripped bass, with Chris; writing songs & poetry; playing guitar; painting, working in her garden with her friends: Wendy, Bonnie & Lisabeth; sporting days… skiing, softball, tennis, golf; and most of all, Flo cared for and cherished her time with her family, friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her two sons: Kenneth ''Ken'' (Christine Angelo) of Ottawa and David (Nancy Snowdon-Rule) of Moncton; her brother Eric Daigle of Pointe-du-Chêne; her four grandchildren: Justin, Katelin, Tyson, and Natasha; by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews; and also by her pet doggie Marley.

Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her siblings: Roderick ''Rod'', Janet, Robert ''Bobby'', Russell and Norma.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home.  Flo’s funeral service will be held at St. Martin’s in the Woods, 3394 Route 134, Shediac Cape, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 10:30am. A reception, with some lunch snacks, will follow the service, at Shediac Bay behind the church, all are welcomed. Please feel free to bring your favorite outdoor chair and snacks to share.  Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery in Pointe-du-Chêne.

In memory of Florence, a donation to the Albert House-Hospice SENB, that provided the most amazing support for her final days, would be appreciated.
