Raymond Bourque, 84, of Moncton, passed away on June 17, 2026
at ProTem Memory Care. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late
Dismas and Évéline (Gallant)
Bourque.
Very pleasant and lovable, Raymond enjoyed visiting friends
and family on a regular basis. Meeting him was like seeing an old
friend, as he had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel at ease.
His warm smile, kind heart, and genuine interest in others left a
lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Raymond
had a passion for travel and was fortunate to explore many parts of
the world, particularly Egypt, Europe, and Great Britain. Raymond
retired as Regional Manager with Union Carbide, where he dedicated
most of his professional career. He was respected for his strong work
ethic, leadership, and commitment, earning the admiration of
colleagues and associates throughout the years.
He is survived by two brothers: Henri (Judy) of Moncton and
David of Halifax, N.S.; one sister-in-law, Katharine Bourque of
Shediac Bridge; as well as his nephew Michel and his niece
Julie.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers:
Ronald and Denis.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation at the
funeral home. The funeral service will be celebrated at
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton
(506-858-1900) on Tuesday July 28 at 11 am. Interment will
be at Grande-Digue parish cemetery. In memory of Raymond, a
contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
