Aurea Wright, 84, of Cap-Pelé, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC in Moncton. She was the daughter of the late René and Dorita (Leger) Jacob.

Aurea will be sadly missed by her siblings: Jeanne Gaudet (René Arsenault) of Grand-Barachois, René (Linda) of Belleville (ON), Georges of Shediac, and Delia Jacob of Ottawa; two sisters-in-law: Roberte Jacob of Lower Cap-Pelé and Charline Bourque of Shediac; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Fernand and Paul; and by an infant sister, Marie-Pauline.

In keeping with Aurea’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at St.Timothy Cemetery in Shemogue, NB.
