Therese "Theresa" Cormier, 105, of Moncton, passed away on June 3, 2026 at the Villa du Repos.  Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Léa (Robichaud) Bourgeois.

She is survived by two children: Pauline Martin and Michael Cormier; three grandchildren: Elaine, Patricia and Paul (Sharon); eight great-grandchildren: Hannah, Jeremiah, Rachael, Carmen, Eva, Jack, Luke and Hawk; four great-great-grandchildren: Forrest, Sunny, Clara-Jane and Joanna; as well as her nieces and nephews.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ovila (2005); three sisters: Helene, Rita and Nora; and two brothers: Alfred and Emery.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Villa du Repos for their exceptional care provided to Theresa.

There will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Saint-Antoine parish cemetery at a later date. In memory of Theresa, a contribution to the Villa du Repos (Activities), the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.  Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
