At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, on Thursday,
June 11, 2026, Donald Nima, 91, of St-André-LeBlanc, passed
away. He was the son of the late Joseph and Clorice (Babineau)
Nima.
Donald loved music, especially playing his
harmonica. His favorite pastimes were spending time in nature,
including fishing, hunting, gardening, camping, and working on his
farm.
He is survived by his children: Diane (Gary)
Gallant of Dupuis Corner, Pauline Nima of Shediac, and Donalda (Kevin)
Donahue of Aulac; three sisters: Yvrette Gaudet of Shediac, Dorina
LeBlanc (Lionel) of Cap-Pelé, and Jeanne Richard (Guy) of
Haute-Aboujagane; two brothers: Lloyd (Rose-Mai) of
St-André-LeBlanc and Roger of St-André-LeBlanc;
five grandchildren: Joey, Jenny, Cynthia, Melissa, and Kayla; and
seven great-grandchildren: Liam, Coralie, Colton, Dax, Alek, Deven,
and Caleb.
Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by
his wife, Auréa (2023); his brothers: Jean and Guy; and his
sisters: Thérèse Nima and Anita
Cormier.
In accordance with Donald’s wishes,
there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service
will be held at the
Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila Cemetery in
Cap-Pelé on the day of the burial, Thursday, June 18, at
2:30 p.m.
In memory of Donald, donations to a charity of
your choice would be appreciated.
