At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, on Tuesday,
June 9, 2026, Bernard Brun of Cormier-Village, passed away peacefully
at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Alphonse and Judith
(Hébert) Brun.
Before his retirement, Bernard worked for
Lockwood and Westwood, for many years. He was known as a talented
carpenter.
He is survived by his son, Alexandre Brun of
Cormier-Village; his brother, Laurie (Annette) of Boudreau-Ouest;
three sisters: Léola Comeau of Dieppe, Edith Bourque of
Shediac, and Bernadette (Ronald) Boudreau of Petit-Cap; two
sisters-in-law: Élianne Robichaud and Carmel Brun; his
granddaughter, Samantha Brun; as well as the mother of his son,
Anne-Marie Leger.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by six
brothers: Laurie, Armand, Réginald, Henri, Jean-Paul, and
Claude; and by two sisters: Edith and
Bernice.
In accordance with Bernard’s wishes,
there will be no visitation or funeral
service.
In memory of Bernard, donations to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or to Vestiaire St-Joseph Shediac, would be
appreciated.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the
professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac (506-532-3297).
