Jean-Charles Arsenault, 76, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.  Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Laura (Bastarache) Arsenault.

One of his great passions was to play guitar at Villa Héritage and spend time with his friends while playing bingo and pool.

He is survived by two sisters: Alphonsine of Moncton and Thérèse DeYoung (Donny) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; two brothers: Camille (Nicole) of Moncton and Roger (Lucille) of Dieppe; four sisters-in-law: Roberta, Bernice, Majella and Carole, all of Moncton; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Noëlla; six brothers: Paul, Alyre, Wilfred, Gérard, Emery et Emile.

As per the family’s request, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral ceremony will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday May 15 at 11 am.  Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Jean-Charles, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
