At Maison Providence Shediac, surrounded by her three sisters, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 94, passed away Rose Vautour. Born in Richibouctou Village, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Diana (Richard) Richard.

She leaves to mourn her son, Roger Vautour of O Bons Soins Residence Shediac; her three sisters: Jeannette (late Raymond) Gallant of Richibouctou Village, Carmella (late Ernest) Caissie of Au Bénaise Residence in St-Antoine, and Rita (Ken) Parker of Rexton; one brother, Joseph (Jacinthe) Richard of Richibouctou Village; one brother-in-law, Pat (Jeannette) Vautour of Shediac; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband, Émile Vautour (2018), as well as by her two sisters: Aline Vautour and Imelda Godin.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. The funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Saint-Joseph Church in Shediac. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.

In memory of Rose, a donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
