Sister Louise LeBlanc, ndsc, passed away following a full and well-lived life on Saturday April 4, 2026, at the Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur in Moncton. She was 93 years old, including 72 years of religious life. Born in La Montain in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Bibienne (Melanson) LeBlanc.

Besides her religious family, she is survived by two sisters: Bernadette LeBlanc (René) and Rose-Marie Breau (late Albert), both of Memramcook; one brother, Ulysse (Stella) of Memramcook; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Jeannine Belliveau (Yvon) and Rachel LeBlanc (Hubert); and two brothers: Raymond (Pauline) and Robert (Alcida).

Sister Louise will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavilion of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Motherhouse, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Tuesday April 7 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with Solemn Vespers at 7 pm and on Wednesday April 8 from 9 am until the funeral mass.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 8 in the Motherhouse chapel at 10 am.  The funeral mass will be streamed live and may be viewed on her obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com where condolences may also be sent.  Interment will be in Memramcook.
