At his residence,
Francis Bérubé of Shediac passed away peacefully
surrounded by his family on April 2, 2026. He was the son of the late
Paul Emile Bérubé and Simonne
Caron.
Francis found great joy in life's simple pleasures. In his
free time, he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid fan of NASCAR,
hockey, and baseball. Above all, however, his true passion was
cooking, an art through which he expressed his love and brought his
family together around many meals.
Francis will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years,
Claire; his two daughters Natacha Leger (Mathieu Leger) and Sonia
Bérubé (Jean Francois Demers) of Cabano, Quebec,
his five brothers: Yvan, Gilbert, Benoît, Gaëtan,
and Jacques; five sisters: Micheline, Marie-Paul, Jovette, Lise, and
Danielle, as well as his five grandchildren: Christian Demers, Reese
McPhee, Nathan Demers, Charlie, and Riley. He will also be missed by
many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers:
Normand and Viateur; and a sister, Diane Bérubé.
In memory of Francis, donations to the Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology
Clinic at the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
