At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, surrounded by her family, on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the age of 86, Stella Boudreau of Haute-Aboujagane passed away. Born in Sackville, she was the daughter of the late Régis Boudreau and the late Ida (Thibodeau) Boudreau.

It is with immense sadness that we announce her passing. Stella was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and above all a precious friend. She leaves behind a tremendous void, but also a life filled with love, memories, and unforgettable moments.

She will be remembered for her joy of life, her gentleness, and her big heart. She found happiness in cooking for her loved ones, sharing homemade desserts, and gathering her family around the table. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, and especially playing cards, whether 200 or rummy—moments that brought her great joy. Above all, she deeply cherished her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Boudreau, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage; her two daughters: Murielle Leger (Emery McGraw) of Haute-Aboujagane and Anise Boudreau (Tom Saulnier) of Moncton; and her son Michel (Sylvie) of Shediac. She is also survived by her brother Edmond (late Marie) Gisele of Shediac; her sister Bertha Boudreau of Moncton; as well as her three grandchildren: Mathieu (Lisa), Marc (Karine), and Cynthia (Patrick); her three great-grandchildren: Khloe, Mateo, and Alexi, who will cherish her memory. She will also be missed by her many nephews and nieces; a brother-in-law (Joe); as well as her little dog "Pierrette," whom she loved dearly.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her three sisters: Elda (late Clarence), Hélène (André), and Diana (Garry), as well as her brother Émile (Linda).

The family sincerely wishes to thank all the staff of Unit 4A at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for the exceptional care provided to Stella.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Stella will rest at the Frenette Funeral Centre Columbarium in Shediac.

In memory of Stella, a donation to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC (oncology unit), or to the charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297).
