Lorraine LeBlanc, 91, of Moncton and formerly of Essex Street, passed away on Monday March 23, 2026 at the Villa du Repos. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Alvina (Doiron) LeBlanc.

Prior to her retirement, Lorraine worked at the Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital’s laundry department.

She is survived by two nieces: Heather Nichols of La Chine, Québec and Lorraine Babineau of Moncton; as well as two nephews: Buddy LeBlanc of Calgary, Alberta and Leo-Paul LeBlanc of Riverview. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Lorraine was predeceased by three brothers: Sylvain (late Olga), Alyre and Laurie (late Flavie); and one niece, Linda Doiron.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday March 26 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
