Rose LeBlanc, 97, of Moncton, passed away on Friday March 20, 2026 at the Villa du Repos. Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and late Joséphine (Landry) LeBlanc.

Prior to her retirement, Rose dedicated her career to the service of others. She spent many years as a senior home caregiver, providing essential support and comfort to those in need, before transitioning to a role working for individuals in their apartments at the Villa Héritage. Outside of work, Rose was an avid bingo player and found great joy in crafting at home, where her imagination and hands-on skills truly shone.

She is survived by two sisters: Laura LeBlanc and Yvonne Saulnier (Norbert), both of Moncton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rose was predeceased by three sisters: Lina Cormier, Rita LeBlanc, and Ida Donovan; and seven brothers: Henri, Lionel, Albert, Edmond, Clovis, Aurèle, and Alfred.

Rose’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Unit 900 at the Villa du Repos for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness shown to her during her stay. Your dedication and support brought comfort not only to Rose, but also to her loved ones, and will always be appreciated.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday March 25 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Rose, a contribution to the donor’s choice would be appreciated
