Viola Savoie, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Monday March 16, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Yvon and Alexina (Richard) Gallant.

Prior to her retirement, Viola worked at Lanes Bakery.

She is survived by four brothers: Léonard (late Loretta), Donald, Fernand (Dot), and Vincent (Sharlene); two sisters-in-law: Rosia Gallant and Jeannette Gallant; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Normand and Paul; three sisters: Germaine, Pauline, and Rachel. 

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe at a later date.
