Christopher John MacKay, 55, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday March 14, 2026 at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Annette (Larocque) Lamarre (Roy) and the late David MacKay.

Besides his mother and step-father, he is survived by two step-children: Katelyn Young and Colton Young, both of Moncton; one step-great-grandchild, Jake; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his common-law wife, Shelley Gillis.

There will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be at Elmwood cemetery in Moncton. In memory of Christopher, a contribution to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
