Robert Gaudet, 90, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 14, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Saint-Joseph, he was the son of the late Camille and Angèle (LeBlanc) Gaudet.

Prior to his retirement, Robert worked in the television studio of Radio-Canada.

He is survived by two daughters: Pierrette Gauvin (Terry) and Ginette Landry (Réjean); four sons: Michel (Darlene), Marcel (Paula), Maurice (Mary Ann) and Francis; one son-in-law, Gérald Babineau; 15 grandchildren: Isabelle, Denis, André, Gabriel, Miguel, Amy, Melissa, Bobby, Stéphanie, Justin, Marc, Brandon, Véronique, Janelle, and Parise; nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Richard); his oldest daughter, Paulette Babineau; and two sisters: Simone Gaudet and Jeanette Bissonnette.

A private funeral service will be celebrated. Robert will rest in the Frenette columbarium. In memory of Robert, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
