Florence LeBlanc, age 82, passed away peacefully at 2:30 a.m, on March 12, 2026. at La Maison Providence in Shediac, NB. Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Delma (LeBlanc) Nowlan.

In 1964, Florence married Clarence Emile LeBlanc, and together they shared 61 years of marriage, building a life centered around family, friendship, and community.

Florence was well known throughout the community as a talented hairdresser and owner of her salon, "Flossy’s’’. Through her work, she built lasting friendships with countless clients, who quickly became friends. Many people in the community knew her affectionately as "Flossy".

She had a vibrant personality and a spirited nature. Florence was often described as the life of the party—an Irish spitfire who loved to make people laugh and brought joy and energy wherever she went. Above all, Florence cherished her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth, humor, and strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Clarence Emile LeBlanc; and her children: Thomas LeBlanc and Susan Cormier (Daniel).  She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Jessica Deveau (Bill), Jennifer, Julia, Shawn Cormier (Julia), and Marco Cormier, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren: Amara and William.  Florence is also survived by her siblings: Marie May Nowlan, Mable Maillet (Raoul), Pauline Bernard (late Léonide), Peter Nowlan (Shirley), Murielle Bernard (Roger), and Alfreda Cormier (late Léopaul), along with many extended family members and friends.

Florence was predeceased by her beloved son Marc, who passed away in 1985 at the age of 20; by her parents: Peter and Delma Nowlan; and by her sisters: Lillian and Blanche.

Florence will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, and strong spirit. Her warmth and lively personality will live on in the hearts of her family and the many people whose lives she touched.

May the road rise up to meet her,

May the wind be always at her back,

May the sunshine warm upon her face,

And until we meet again,

May God hold her in the palm of His hand.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297), on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 6pm to 9pm; and from 9:30am until 10:45am, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11:00am, in the chapel of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac.
