At Albert House in Moncton, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, Ralph
(Raoul) Boutin, of Dieppe, passed away peacefully at the age of 63.
Born in Pointe-à-la-Garde, (Qc), he was the son of the late
Rodolphe Boutin and the late Dorothy Carrier.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Jacynthe Leblanc, with
whom he shared 42 years of life marked by deep affection. He also
maintained close and meaningful bonds with the family of his uncle
Lionel and aunt Jeannie, as well as with members of his
wife’s family, and with his nieces and nephews, whom he
cherished.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his
sisters: Florence, Denise and Carole, and his brother
Yvon.
For five months, Ralph faced leukemia with courage, sustained
by a strong determination to recover and by the many projects he still
hoped to accomplish. He looked forward to the return of spring so he
could care for his trees and yard with pride. Hoping to regain his
strength, he also looked forward to resuming his many walks at
Irishtown Nature Park and his weightlifting workouts.
Ralph worked for 30 years as a butcher at Costco in Moncton.
Known for his sense of humour, his dedication to a job well done, and
his helpful spirit, he was appreciated by his colleagues and many
friends. His desire to help was also reflected in his deep love for
dogs, which he understood and trained with patience.
His wife sincerely thanks the staff of the Dr.
Léon-Richard Oncology Centre, the 4D Oncology Unit at Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, and Maison Albert for their care and
kindness.
Visitation will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900), on Saturday, March
14, from 1 pm to 4 pm. In his honour, a short ceremony will take place
at 3 pm.
In memory of Ralph, donations may be made to Hospice SENB
(Maison Albert).
