John Bernard "Bernie" Morrison, 81, of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Ireland, he was the son of the late John James and Veronica "Vera" (Moran) Morrison.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Lee (Lewis); three sons: John (Beatrice MacKenzie), Mark (Karen) and Matthew; five grandchildren: Ben, Chandler, Ethan, Jacob, and Meghan; three siblings: Normand, Mary Rose Newell (James "Spider") and Terry Ellis (Tim); one sister-in-law, Karen Morrison; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings: Jim, Anthony and Margaret.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Moncton Dart Club on Friday February 27, from 1 pm to 5 pm. All friends, family co-workers and acquaintances are invited. Interment will be in Gayton. In memory of Bernie, a contribution can be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (oncology).
