It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of
Suzanne Bourque, which occurred at the Moncton Hospital on February
13, 2026, at the age of 59, following a brief illness. She was the
daughter of the late Lorenzo Bourque and Dora (Boudreau)
Bourque.
She leaves behind a son, Joshua Chan, her son born from her
ex husband Thomas Chan; her sister, Francine Bourque; her brothers:
Hubert, Daniel, and Marcel Bourque; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister
Nadine.
Suzanne will be remembered as a woman of great warmth,
kindness, and joy. Friendly, loyal, and blessed with a truly generous
heart, she was a loving person and a cherished presence within her
family. She had a deep love for cats and found genuine happiness in
life’s simple pleasures.
A woman of great intelligence, Suzanne possessed a rare gift
for listening with patience and empathy. She offered comfort,
understanding, and gentleness to those around her. Her bright eyes and
beautiful smile could instantly light up a room, reflecting her
warmth, kindness, and joy for life. Guided by a deep faith in God and
