Amélia LeBlanc, 100, of Moncton Residence, passed away on Saturday February 7, 2026 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Honoré «Henry» and Catherine (Boucher) Cormier.

She is survived by two sons: Jean (Heather) of Cocagne and Robert (Paula MacDonald) of Dieppe; one daughter, Monique D’Amour (Daniel) of Stratford, P.E.I.; one sister, Corinne Crossley (late Dave) of Peterborough, ON; one daughter-in-law, Annette of Dieppe, three grandchildren: Isabelle, Mathieu and Julie; one step-granddaughter, Stéphanie; two step-great-grandsons: Hunter and Mason; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Émile, one son, Bernard; two sisters: Marguerite and Thérèsa; and her brother, Clarence.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday February 11 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Wednesday February 11 from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Amélia, a contribution can be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 11985 St Alphonse de Liguori School Breakfast Program for Kids.
