Doris Roach, 89, of Moncton, passed away on Friday January 30, 2026 at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Ruby (Newton) Taylor.

She was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. In her younger years, she enjoyed curling, bowling and Saturday nights dancing or playing 200 with Leo.

She is survived by her husband for almost 70 years, Leo Roach; two children: Stephen (Linda) and Debbie LeBlanc (Pierre), both of Moncton; two grandchildren: Samuel and Nicholas; two step-grandchildren: Anthony and Melissa; nine siblings: Marion Spicer, Ethel Landry, Ruth Roberts, Joseph, Betty Kenny, Keith, Lee, Evelyn, and Kevin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 340 Dominion Street, Moncton, on Thursday February 5 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Doris, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
